Hello again folks! May brings our first event of the year plus new products for our shop...!
Pop Up Design Store
Introducing another of our Pop Up Design Store events!
For one day only we'll be popping up with a physical shop at Scotstoun's wonderful Blackhill Bakery on Dumbarton Road, Glasgow, featuring a specially curated selection of gifts and homewares handcrafted by local artists, makers and designers.
Our first Pop Up Design Store took place at The Cooperage in the Southside of Glasgow last November and was a great success so we’re super excited to bringing more of them to you this year.
Vases by Studio Yōki from our Pop Up Design Store at The Cooperage, Glasgow, Nov 2022
The full line-up of makers involved will be announced soon via Instagram & Facebook but you’ll hear about it first from us in a couple week’s time ;)
~ FREE TO ATTEND ~
Let us know you’re coming by RSVPing to our Facebook Event page:
New Products
Egg, Cheese and Pickle prints by Glasgow-based illustrator Emily Chappell - now available from our online shop!
These silkscreen prints are hand-printed on A4 paper from a limited edition of 40, signed by Emily. Created with a lo-fi 'cut out stencil' aesthetic, these mini food prints are a nod to the atomic age of 50s illustration. But they were also chosen for being iconic - being often pictured with a cartoon simplicity.
Also available now are these beautiful ravioli shape Pasta Fridge Magnets and Pasta Pin Badges
These are lovingly handmade by David McDiarmid Studio with stoneware clay the same way edible pasta is made with dough.
Artist Submissions!
A wee reminder that our call for entries is ongoing! Artists can apply to submit an edition of existing food-themed works for sale on Artists' Tuck Shop's website and in person market pop ups.
Artists receive 70% from sales of their products with 30% retained to cover our running costs. Any surplus we have is put towards commissioning local artists to add to our exclusive range of special art editions.
If you’re an artist looking to submit works for consideration, then click below:
