Object Company
Object Company is a woodwork studio based in Glasgow, established in 2014. All of the products made are unique and created by hand. Current studio practice centres on woodcarving and woodturning. Hand carved scoops, utensils, chopping boards and bowls are the current focus, with emphasis on irregularities, warping & figured markings. The work explores form, materiality and limitation through the retention of natural characteristics, whilst pushing the pieces to a point of delicacy just within their limits. All of the wood used is donated, collected or bought from local tree surgeons or FCA certified wood shops.

Harnessed with a postgraduate degree in Architecture from the Glasgow School of Art, she has now taken her design skills in a different direction and is a self taught printmaker, illustrator and ceramicist.
